A Bridge of Freedom Between Your Mac and Any Device Sending files from your Mac to Android, Windows, or another iPhone has never been easier. No app is needed on the receiving device! As long as you're on the same network, open the camera and scan the QR code or enter otherdrop.local in your browser.
On your primary Mac, open the app from the menu bar and click "Start Server" to enable sharing.

On a secondary Windows or Mac device (where the app is not installed), enter otherdrop.local into the browser.
Enter the name that will appear on your Mac and send a connection request.
Once sent, a connection prompt will appear on your Mac.
Select the connected device from your Mac to begin sending files.
Send files using drag-and-drop or by selecting multiple items via Finder.
Sent files will appear on the other device connected to the same network; select single or multiple files to download.

Send files from the other device using drag-and-drop or by selecting multiple items via File Explorer.
Monitor upload percentage and remaining time on the other device; options to stop or pause are available.
Files received from other computers are saved in the Downloads/OtherDrop folder on your Mac.
On iPad or Android devices, scan the QR code to send a connection request.
You can customize the display name for your phone or tablet.
Sending a request prompts a connection on your Mac; multiple devices can be connected simultaneously.

Select your phone from your Mac to send files; they will be saved in the "Files" section of your phone.
